We’re going on a road trip! We are going to have some family fun! What a beautiful day!
Uh oh, the drive.
It’s a long drive.
What can we do.
Literacy opportunity 👍🏼
I’ve been collecting the books that come with the Chick-Fil-A kids meals because they are gold! I’ve found some older ones at thrift stores and from friends. I have recent ones from recent Chick-Fil-A visits. If I get a duplicate, I keep it sealed and trade. Now I have stack of COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT reading material for my toddler that takes up little space and helps us pass the time on a road trip.
Most of our Chick-fil-A books are classics and feature characters from popular children’s literature like Duck, Mouse, Moose, and Curious George. The coloring books are adapted from Usbourne! They didn’t skimp on quality at all.
So off we go with plenty of material to occupy us without staring at screens 😉 too much 😁.
So much thanks goes out to Chick-Fil-A! Thank you for thinking about family bonding. Thank you for contributing to early literacy!
